On 23 April 2021, “Administrative Measures for Livestreaming Marketing (for Trial Implementation)” (the “Measures”, 網(wǎng)絡(luò)直播營(yíng)銷管理辦法(試行)) were jointly released by the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, State Taxation Administration, State Administration for Market Regulation and National Radio and Television Administration. The Measures came into force as of 25 May 2021.
