In July 2021, the People’s Bank of China and Beijing Municipal Finance Bureau jointly issued the “Warning Statement of Preventing Risks in Virtual Currency Trading”, prohibiting relevant institutions from providing services for virtual currency business.
In June 2021, China’s Ministry of Commerce released “Guidelines for Enterprises to Use Investment Treaties” (the "Guidelines", 企業(yè)利用投資協(xié)定參考指南), detailing how to use Investment Treaties for enterprises engaged in outbound investment.
On 23 April 2021, “Administrative Measures for Livestreaming Marketing (for Trial Implementation)” (the “Measures”, 網(wǎng)絡(luò)直播營(yíng)銷(xiāo)管理辦法(試行)) were jointly released by the Cyberspace Administration of China, the Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, State Taxation Administration, State Administration for Market Regulation and National Radio and Television Administration. The Measures came into force as of 25 May 2021.
With China taking active role in controlling carbon emission in recent years, the Standing Committee of Shenzhen Municipal People’s Congress issued “Regulation of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone on the Ecological Environment Protection” (深圳經(jīng)濟(jì)特區(qū)生態(tài)環(huán)境保護(hù)條例) in June 2021.
